Former Vice Chancellor and CEO of The Open University UK, Vice Chancellor of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and Chair of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. She currently chairs the Talloires Network’s Global Project on literacy, and serves on several other boards and trusts. An accountant by profession, she is a champion of the OER movement, of which OU is an exemplar.

Professor, Kings College (London) served for forty years at the World Bank. His managerial assignments included Director-General Evaluation, and Vice President Corporate Planning and Budgeting. He is a member of the European Evaluation Society board and serves on the Independent Advisory Committee on Development Impact reporting to the UK International Development Secretary.

Tazeen served as General Counsel and Executive Officer of the IADP from 2004 to 2009. After practicing for several years at the London Bar, she worked as a legal consultant to Save the Children, Oxfam, and CARE International while living in Kenya. She is currently a consultant to the World Bank on Rule of Law and Governance issues and gender discrimination and legal barriers to women's entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan Africa.
